On phones and tablets the same actions map to an on-screen joystick plus fire, missile, and drone buttons, so nothing in the moment-to-moment combat changes between platforms.
Every run rewards thinking a half-second ahead. Use cover and positioning to break enemy line of sight, line up shots instead of spraying, and grab supply drops and pickups when the lull allows. Boss encounters arrive every fourth round and scale up across the campaign — the Standard boss, the Glacier Warden, the Bastion, and the Iron Commander each run multi-phase attack patterns, so learn to read their telegraphs and dodge before you commit. Manage your missile and drone cooldowns so you have firepower ready when a phase shifts.
